Kathmandu : The country recorded 156 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours out of 4416 RT-PCR tests. With this, the total caseload reached 276,665. Of the new cases, 66 were from the Kathmandu valley including 55 from Kathmandu district, nine of Lalitpur and two of Bhaktapur.
The Ministry of Health and Population stated that four death details were received in the last 24 hours taking the total death toll to 3024 so far in the country. Likewise, the Ministry said that a total of 70 infected ones got recovery from the virus during the past 24 hours across the country.
Till Friday, a total of 272,342 infected ones recovered from the virus which is 98.4 per cent of the total caseload.It is stated that the number of confirmed cases in isolation is 1,299 while 52 others are in quarantine facilities.
