PM lights lamps wishing for world peace
7 May Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli lit lamps at his official residence in Baluwatar this evening, wishing for world peace on the occasion of the 2564th Buddha Jayanti or the birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha.
The Prime Minister had made an appeal to all Nepalis on Wednesday to take part in the illumination this evening to mark the Buddha Jayanti and also in respect of the medical and security personal and volunteers in the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. Following the appeal, people across the country lit lamps at 7:00 pm this evening.
